The JV Lady Rocks got off to a quick start Tuesday night against the greyhounds of Carmel. The Rocks lock down defense led to multiple turnover which then led to easy baskets in transition. The Rocks held the greyhound to zero field goals and took a 13 point lead after one. Layla Six was a spark off the bench in the second scoring 7 points for the Rocks and they went into the half up 26-9. The sophomore guard duo of Mia Crask and Meg Hamilton scored 13 of the Rocks 15 third quarter points and the Rocks cruised to the 51-22 victory. Crask led the Rocks with 10 points going 2-3 from the field 1-2 from 3 and 3-3 from the free throw line. Hamilton also finished with 10 and 3 assists. Sam Price and Layla Six each had 4 steals on the night. The Rocks are back in action Friday when the host the Eagles of Zionsville. JV tips at 6:00 with Varsity to follow.
