The boys JV cross country team competed in their first of two meets this week, competing against several teams at Noblesville. The boys were led by John Obusek's first career sub 18:00 performance, followed by Jace Lee's first career sub 18:00 performance as well. Luke Stevens, Max Hood, and Tyler O'Rourke rounded out the top 5. PRs were run by Obusek, Lee, Stevens, Hood, Conner Phillips, Eli LaRosa, Brayden Cring, Corbin Hasler, Everitt Smith, and Luke Schmidt. For some runners, this was their final race of the season, and it was a great meet to go out on. Congratulations on wonderful seasons! The boys cross country team ran in the final meet of the regular season, finishing 4th place in a very strong field. Leading the way for the boys was Nathan McKeever, who finished fourth place overall and shattered his old PR by 35 seconds, breaking the 17:00 barrier for the first time and running an outstanding time of 16:25. Caleb Haney was the next finisher, earning the first sub 17:00 performance of his career as well. Bryce Pittman, Drew Neely, and Dexter Hoffman rounded out the scorers for the Shamrocks. PRs were run by McKeever, Haney, Neely, Hoffman, Donovan Ledford (first career sub 18:00 performance), Chase Niccum, Tyler O'Rourke (first career sub 18:00 performance), Deagan Imel, Brayden Cring, Owen Sawa, Dom Newell, Eli LaRosa, Alex Cassidy, Luke Schmidt, Andy Samreta, Krithik Bolla, and Maddux Kettlebar. For many, this was the last race of the season, as the postseason begins this week. Congratulations to all on amazing seasons, and we cannot wait to see what the future brings for all of you!
