JV Football Defeats Orioles to Improve to 5-1

The JV Shamrocks improved to 5-1 on the season and 5-0 in conference play with a dominating 42-0 win over the Avon Orioles. Multiple players made plays throughout the morning and the Rock D pushed their streak to two straight games without giving up a TD. Offensively the Rocks were led by Players of the game Noah Clark and Baylor Conner. Consistent play was given all morning by the offensive line unit and WR Spencer Sullivan. Big plays came on a long TD pass from QB Aiden Grabowski to Kaleb Darts as well as another long TD pass from Gavin McCall to Michael Morris. The defensive unit was on point all morning with holding the Avon O to 0 points. The player of the game was Caden Honeycutt making plays from his LB position. DL Chase Crabtree provided consistent play on the line of scrimmage all game long. The big play for the D came on a Ryder Birk INT. On special teams, kicker Diego Herrera capitalized on all kicking opportunities and was the player of the game. Consistent play from Nick Fero was given on all of his holds. Plays of the game came when the Rocks, led by Niko Lent and Joseph Oragodosi, recovered an onside kick in the first quarter as well as a blocked punt by Adrian Feltrinelli. The Rocks try to stay undefeated in conference play when they host the Fishers Tigers next Saturday, October 12th for a 10 AM kick.
