Varsity: The varsity volleyball team lost to Avon in four sets on Wednesday. Carsyn Comer led the offense with 14 kills, followed by Paige Rudolph and Audrey Bassett each with 11. Kendyl Strack finished with 19 digs. Emily Blevins finished with 22 assists, and Izzy Jackson added 18. The Rocks will host Plainfield on Saturday morning. JV: The JV girls volleyball team traveled to Avon for a conference game and came away with an impressive 2-0 victory by the scores of 25-13 and 25-20. This win pushes their season total to 15 against only 2 losses. The Rocks served aggressively resulting in 10 aces with Lainey Holman leading with 4 and Kailey Sweet having a team high 10 points won on her serve. Kenna Robinson ran an efficient offense logging 18 assists allowing our hitters to register a combined .280 hitting efficiency, led by Avery Pekala who hit a .571 with 5 kills to go with her 2 blocks.
