The JV Shamrocks were able to continue their perfect conference record by defeating the Brownsburg Bulldogs by a score of 20-7. This improved the Rocks record to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The Rocks were led by outstanding defensive play across the board. The defense allowed 0 points on the evening with the lone Brownsburg score coming on a kickoff return. Stout play by the defensive line limited the Bulldogs run game. Offensively, the Rocks capitalized on some great field position due to great special teams play. Strong games from running backs Cole Chellevold and Noah Clark paced the Rocks on the ground. The big play came on a long pass connection from QB Gavin McCall to Kaleb Darts. The special teams unit also had some highlight plays, notably coming from Wade Washo and a fumble recovery on an attempted Brownsburg punt. The JV Shamrocks return to action this Saturday, October 5th when they travel to Avon to take on the Orioles for a 10 AM kick.
