Varsity: The varsity volleyball team celebrated senior night with a sweep over North Central. Paige Rudolph led the offense with 7 kills, followed by Audrey Davis with 6. Kendyl Strack chipped in 3 aces for the offense and also led the defense with 19 digs, while Rudolph added an additional 14 digs. Izzy Jackson finished with 19 assists, and Emily Blevins added 11. The Rocks are now 18-6 and will travel to Avon on Wednesday to take on the Orioles. JV: Your JV girls volleyball team returned to action Monday night with a contest against the North Central Panthers and came away with another 2-0 win (25-17 & 25-13) to improve their record to 14-2. Kate Seewald played solid defense with 10 digs and 2 assists out of system. Avery Pekala led the offense in hitting percentage (.571) and was helped by fellow front line players Laynie Holman and Ava Rodda who tied for the team high in point differential. The Rocks piled up a team total of 10 aces for the match with Kailey Sweet and Ella Miles leading the way in points scored off their serves with 12 and 10 respectively. Next up is a conference match versus Avon on Wednesday night.
