Varsity: The varsity boys cross country team finished in 4th place at the prestigious Athletic Annex FlashRock Invitational. Leading the way was Owen Mohler with his top 10 finish, followed by Will Snedeker and Ty Conner. Mohler, Snedeker, and Conner all earned medals with their top 35 finishes. The other scorers for the boys included Luke Moulder (who ran a PR), and Owen Dilley. Nathan McKeever, Drew Neely, and Chase Niccum all also had very solid races for the Shamrocks. The boys are back in action on Saturday, September 28th at the HCC Championships, held at White River Elementary in Noblesville. The boys varsity race begins at 9:30 am. JV: The JV boys had to brave some very difficult conditions for their race, but still earned a 4th place finish in one of the biggest races of the year. Leading the way for the Shamrocks was Deagan Imel, who earned a huge PR despite the heat, and finished 10th overall. JP Mikels finished just behind him in 13th place, while Taye Gutwein and Donovan Ledford both also earned ribbons with their 23rd and 24th place finishes respectively. Dexter Hoffman was the final scorer for the squad, while Evan Hocker was the only Shamrock in the JV race other than Imel to earn a PR on a very hot, humid day. The boys are back in action at the HCC Championships on Saturday, September 28th at White River Elementary in Noblesville. The boys JV race starts at 10:30 am.
