The Freshman Lady Rocks started off their season with a bang, defeating the Fishers Tigers 47 - 22. It was a slow start for the Rocks, tallying only 4 points in the first quarter and a tie game at the half. But the Rocks picked up their defensive intensity, allowing only 2 field goals in the second half. They improved their offensive spacing, and pushed the ball up the floor, gathering quick transition baskets. The third quarter push was led by Arri Cooke-Dennis, who had 6 of her total 10 points in the quarter. Kate Roh led the defensive charge, with several steals, converted to assists on the other end. Audra Parker led all scorers with 16 points. The Freshman Lady Rocks have some down time until after Thanksgiving, where they will travel to Noblesville on November 28th.
