The JV Lady Rocks came out firing Tuesday night against the Bruins of Tri-West. Meg Hamilton knocked down two big threes in the first quarter to put the Rocks up 8 after one. The Rocks defense led to multiple turnovers leading to easy baskets in transition. Madeline Linville scored 7 of the Rocks 20 points in the quarter and the Rocks went into the half up 35-15. The Rocks held the Burins to only 3 field goals on the night, and the Rocks cruised to the 48-20 victory. Linville and Taelyn Russell led all scorers with 7. Hamilton, Makayla Hatcher, and Sam Price chipped in 6. The Rocks are back in action Saturday when they host Lawrence Central. JV tips at 12:00 with Varsity to follow.
