Last Saturday, your freshmen Rocks football team traveled to and dominated Noblesville to improve their unbeaten streak to four in a row. The Shamrocks took a stranglehold on the game right from the beginning and never looked back despite a late surge by Noblesville, walking away with a 35-21 win. The defense kicked things off with a four-and-out of the Noblesville offense, and then the Westfield offense took over, scoring touchdowns on each of their first two plays from scrimmage. Elliot Clevenger took advantage of perfect blocking from the O-line to rumble for 58 yards and a touchdown on the opening play. From there, it was Cooper Melvin throwing four touchdowns, 3 to Andrew Noble and a long bomb to Henry Everts, to put things out of reach for good. The Rocks offense scored 35 points on just 28 offensive plays, and the defense ground out several stops to help widen the gap. Your freshman Rocks squad will look to remain undefeated as they host HSE next Saturday morning at 10 AM. Good job Rocks!
