The JV Lady Rocks got off to a quick start Saturday against the Arabians of Pendleton Heights scoring 13 points in the the first quarter and holding the Arabians scoreless after one. The Rocks continued to get out and run scoring 20 of their 58 points in the second quarter. Meg Hamilton scored 10 of the Rocks 20 points in the second to put the Rocks up 29 going into the half. The Rocks defense was too much for the Arabian holding them to only 3 field goals on the day and they cruised to a 58-11 victory. All 10 Rocks got into the scoring column with Hamilton leading all scorers with 17. Makayla Hatcher had 12 and Olivia Murray chipped in 6. The Rocks are back in action when they travel to Tri-West Tuesday night. JV tips at 6:00 with Varsity to follow.
