The varsity volleyball team moved to 12-4 on the season after the Southeastern Showcase. The Rocks lost to Cathedral in a tight 5-set match (24-26, 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 12-15) and defeated Lake Central in 4 sets (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-20). Audrey Bassett had 4 aces on the day, followed by varsity newcomer Kailey Sweet with 3. Carsyn Comer finished the day with 34 kills, followed by Bassett with 20 and Audrey Davis with 17. Comer and Davis also contributed to the defense with 5 and 4 blocks, respectively. Bassett led the backcourt defense with 28 digs on the day, followed by Sweet with 26. Both Izzy Jackson and Emily Blevins ran a balanced offense, ending with 57 and 45 assists, respectively. The Rocks host the Carmel Greyhounds on Monday.
