The JV Lady Rocks opened the 2022-2023 season on the road against the Panthers of North Central. The Rocks knocked down two big threes in the first by Mia Crask and Layla Six, but North Central responded with 2 of their own to keep it close after one. The Rocks defense picked up in the second holding the Panthers to just 3 points in the quarter. From there it was all Westfield as they cruised to a 53-26 victory. The Rocks were led in scoring by Madeline Linville with 11. Crask, Six, Audra Parker and Makayla Hatcher all chipped in 7. The Rocks home opener is this Saturday as they take on the Arabians of Pendleton Heights. JV tips at 12:00 with Varsity to follow.
