The boys cross country team finished in fourth place at the Noblesville Regional on Saturday, October 15, and advanced to Semi State for the third consecutive year. The Shamrocks were led by Sam Hinds, who finished 10th place, earned All-Regional honors, and ran a new PR of 15:47. With this performance, Hinds moved up several spots on Westfield’s all time list – he now has the 9th fastest time in the history of Westfield cross country. Jack Loiselle finished as Westfield’s second runner, while Colin Lakomek crossed the line just a few places behind Loiselle. William Cummings, Owen Flynn, Drew Lovelace, and Owen Mohler rounded out the lineup for the Shamrocks, finishing in that order. Next up is the IHSAA Semi State Championships on Saturday, October 22. The meet is at Blue River Cross Country Course in Shelbyville, and the boys compete at 11:15 am. Come out and support your Shamrocks!
