This weekend, your freshman Shamrocks football team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 21-14 win over Zionsville. The Rocks jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead in the first half and would never relinquish the lead throughout the entire game. The defense was swarming all day long, applying pressure to the Eagles constantly. Daniel Laning came away with an interception that put the offense in excellent scoring position. The defense went on to have multiple sacks, and a key fourth down stop in the fourth quarter to keep the Eagles grounded. Andrew Noble paced the offense. He had a big punt return to kickstart things and then poured it on with two touchdowns, one on the ground and one through the air. Elliott Clevenger also scored in the effort. The freshmen squad looks to remain unbeaten next Saturday when they take on what is sure to be a tough Noblesville team. Good job Rocks!
