Your JV girls volleyball team continued conference play against Zionsville Thursday night and saw their winning streak continue with a 2-0 victory with set scores of 25-14 & 25-18. This brings the JV record to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in conference. Strong serving by Kenna Robinson, Laynie Holman and Eva Clevenger kept Zionsville off balance all match. The entire team played solid defense with a high passer rating and low errors. The offense was led by AC Sylvia and Kailey Sweet as both right sides led us in point differentials with AC hitting 1.000 & Kailey .714. The varsity volleyball team improved to 9-3 on Thursday with a BIG win against the Zionsville Eagles. Carsyn Comer was an absolute animal, hitting .517 and scoring 17 kills, along with a team-high 8 blocks. Kendyl Strack continued to frustrate opponents’ offense by racking up 28 digs and 2 aces. Emily Blevins tallied 27 assists, and Izzy Jackson added 20. The Rocks will host Guerin Catholic on Tuesday.
