The Westfield Shamrock JV football team fell by a score of 8-7 to the Center Grove Trojans in their season opener. The JV Rocks jumped out to an early lead in the contest but could not maintain their momentum throughout the game. The Shamrock defense played stout defense throughout the contest to keep their team in the game. The Rock O provided some flashes throughout the game but could not cap off their drives with points. The JV Rocks will be back in action next Saturday, August 31 when they travel to Carmel for a 10 AM kick.
