The Westfield Junior Varsity football team traveled to Avon and defeated the Orioles 27-0 to break a two game losing streak. The defense dominated all day and shut out the Orioles for our first shut out of the season. They were led by Player of the Game Keegan Krupp. The consistent play of the defensive line and linebackers kept their offense in check all game. The highlight of the day was an interception for a TD by Thomas Vandergriff. Offense was led by WR Parker Knott who had an amazing game. Joaquin Pizana and Boston Scott led the offensive line with consistent play all game. The big play of the game was a critical touchdown catch by Will Irwin. Special Teams was led by Landon Porter and the consistent play of Ken Hampton. The play of the day was an exceptional punt by Parker Knott that was downed at the 1 yard line by Thomas Vandergriff. The JV Rocks football team will be in action again next Saturday, October 8th vs Fishers.
