The Westfield Shamrocks defeated the Pike Red Devils on Thursday, 21-4. The Shamrocks jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning after Lauren Margetson singled, Julia Stormer singled, Delaney Balsbaugh drew a walk, Ada Stach was struck by a pitch, Lauren Arehart drew a walk, Elaina Bottorff singled, and Margetson drew a walk all scoring runs. The Shamrocks scored eight more runs in the bottom of the third inning. Ava Weiderhaft doubled, Balsbaugh singled, Stach drew a walk, Arehart singled, Bottorff singled, and Sophia Kovecsi singled all scoring runs. Balsbaugh pitched all 5 innings for the Shamrocks.
