Girls Track Competes at Noblesville Invitational

The Westfield Girls Track and Field team competed in the Noblesville Invitational, finishing a solid 3rd, finishing just 2 points behind #3 ranked Noblesville. Lucy Hauser was once again a two-event winner in the 100 and 300 hurdle events, posting outstanding times for both races. Other high finishers included a 2nd place finish from the 4x400 of Jordyn Landrum, Katelyn Eblen, Emmie Barker, and LeBraya Warren, a 2nd place from Gracie Czubik in the long jump, where she was joined by Trynati Hoosier's 3rd, Maggie Naas with a 3rd in the 800, Jada Henson 3rd in shot put, a 3rd from the 4x800 of Landrum, Emily Loiselle, Ava Britton Heitz, and Gianna Ferreri, and a 3rd from the 4x100 relay of LeBraya Warren, LeAsia Warren, Josie Vondersaar, and Hoosier. Also scoring well for the Shamrocks were Emmi Barker with an outstanding 4th in the 400, and Claudia Southworth with an equally impressive 4th in the 3200, an event Westfield triple scored in with Lyla Orborn and Izzy McCuloch finishing 5th and 6th. Other scorers included Lauren Linville double scoring in the 100 and 300 hurdles, Henson scoring in her 2nd event (Discus) and Czubik doing the same (high jump), LeBraya Warren in the 100, Liz Smith in the 800, and Paige Lemieux and Elisabeth Sierra Visoso in the pole vault. The girls are back in action Thursday night (4/18) at Noblesville for a JV meet, and Carmel Friday for the Carmel 3200 Showcase.
