Freshman Football Defeats Noblesville

By Tyler Nicole | Sep 12, 2022 11:37 AM

This past Saturday the freshmen football team defeated the Noblesville Millers. All 3 phases of the game played key roles in this weekend’s victory. Pressure from the punt block team led to a Deacon King big hit leading to a fumble recovery by Reed Davison. The very next play, Aidan Grabowski found Brock Parker in the endzone for the first score of the game. The Millers would proceed to tie up the score and the teams went into the half tied 7-7. The hinge moment of the game came on a huge 4th down stop. Defensive end Alex MacDonald burst through the Millers line to tackle the ball carrier in the backfield. That play sparked the rest of the team as the Rocks pulled away with a 26-7 victory. The Rocks will be back in action this Saturday as they face the Royals from Hamilton Southeastern for HOCO Freshmen Addition!
