Hayden Rice drove in four runs on two hits to lead Westfield past Franklin Central 11-2 on Thursday. Rice hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and walked in the fourth inning, scoring one. Mac Delph started on the mound for the Rocks. Delph struck out 12 batters on the day. Delph only surrendered four hits and two runs over six innings. The Rocks scored seven runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Rice homered to left field, Delph hit a solo home run to left field, and Ava Weiderhaft drew a walk, scoring one run. In total, the Shamrocks collected 10 hits in the game. Dylan Todd, Hayden Rice, and Julia Stormer each collected two hits in the game. The Shamrocks play again after spring break. They take the field again on April 9th against Brownsburg.
