The Westfield girls track and field team had its first dual meet of the season Tuesday, narrowly losing to Hamilton Southeastern 70-62. Event winners for the Shamrocks included: LeBraya Warren in the 200, Lina Abriani in the 800, Lucy Hauser in the 100 and 300 hurdles, the 4x100 relay of LeBraya Warren, Trynati Hoosier, Katelyn Neely, and Graysen Wheeler, Paige Lemieux in the pole vault, and Gracie Czubik in the long jump. Also scoring points for Westfield were LeBraya Warren and Le Asia Warren in the 100, Czubik, and LeAsia Waren in the 200, Katelyn Eblen in the 400, Gianna Ferreri in the 800, Alivia Lozier and Liz Smith in the 1600, Izzy McCulloch in the 3200, Lauren Linville in the 300 hurdles, Czubik and Wheeler in the high jump, Hoosier in the long jump, and Jada Henson in the shot put and discus. The Shamrocks are back in action after spring break on Wednesday, April 10 at Zionsville.
