The Rocks Softball team beat Carmel on Wednesday evening by a score of 9-5. They were led by sophomore Shea Vohs in the pitching circle. Shea pitched five innings allowing two earned runs on six hits along with four strikeouts. Sydney Jordan pitched two innings and didn't allow a hit and had one strikeout. Senior Cara Snedeker and Junior Chloe Tanner had two hits each in the game. Tanner had two RBIs as well. Junior Ava Kainrath hit her first homerun of the season scoring two. Sophomore Sophie Easterhaus had one hit and two RBIs in the game. The team plays again on Friday at home against North Central at 6:00 PM.
