Girls Track and Field Competes at Blue and White Relays

The Westfield Girls Track and Field team competed in the Blue and White Relays at Anderson University Saturday night in the final chance to qualify for the Nike HSR State Relays, the indoor state championships. When the meet was over, the girls had qualified in a number of events. Lucy Hauser will be the 7 seed in the 60 hurdles Gracie Czubik will be the 15 seed in long jump Jada Henson will be the 15 seed in shot put In the relays (names are the girls who were on the qualifying relay) 4x400 relay (6th) Maggie Naas, Abbi Van Bibber, Jordyn Landrum, Lucy Hauser 4x800 relay (7th) Maggie Naas, Liz Smith, Jordyn Landrum, Emily Loiselle Distance Medley Relay (19th) Maggie Naas, Kaitlyn Eblen, Jordyn Landrum, Alivia Lozier Alivia is also currently 26th in the 3200 and does still have a chance at an invitation. Also having great performances in the meet were Elizabeth Sierra-Visoso, Paige Lemieux, Chloe Sutake, LeAsia Warren, LeBraya Warren, Josie Vondersaar, and Ella Bozarth. The girls have their first outdoor meet of the year at home Thursday vs. Brownsburg, and the girls who qualified for HSR will compete Saturday beginning at 3:30 at the Farm Bureau Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
