The JV boys volleyball team kicked off their 2024 campaign with a 3 way match at home against Monrovia and McCutcheon and won both matches in 2 sets to start 2-0 on the season. The entire squad saw the floor in both matches and made significant contributions to the team's success. Strong serving performances by Zach Mueller and Grayson Baker created momentum gaining scoring runs while the defense was anchored by Michael Mannella and Felipe Lopez. In his WHS debut as setter, Xavier Lyon ran a great offense and set up front line players Dougie Harvey, Quincy Spangler, Aiden Kuzma and Eric Keller for success.
