Boys Track Competes at HSR Qualifier at IWU #2

In the second HSR qualifier of the season, the Shamrocks displayed many fine performances. In the individual track portion of the meet, Cade Parker finished 6th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.16. Deacon King also had a good run finishing in 7.31. In the 3200, Ty Conner earned a massive PR, shattering the 10:00 barrier for the first time with a time of 9:52.07. Conner's performance is currently the 24th fastest in the large school division. During the relay portion, the 4x800 of Caleb Haney, Will Snedeker, Jack Loiselle, and Will Snedeker finished 3rd in 8:11.96 (led by a four second PR by Snedeker), which is the 4th fastest time in the state thus far. The 4x200 of Cade Parker, Connor Seagrave, Caleb Terril, and Deacon King won the meet easily, running 1:33.31, which is the 8th fastest large school relay thus far. The 4x400 relay of Maxim Poirier, Jones, Mikeah Webster, and Snedeker finished 2nd with a time of 3:33.82, which is the 7th fastest in the large school division. In the field events, Isaac Cole cracked the 40 foot barrier in shot put. Beau Braun and Parker Knott both cleared 5'6 in high jump. Austin Scheerer cleared 10'6 in pole vault. The Shamrocks are back in action on Wednesday night at the HCC Championships.
