The #2 Shamrocks went on the road to take on the #3 Fishers Tigers on Thursday night. Fishers gym was packed, and the atmosphere was that of a sectional game. The play did not disappoint, with a wild back and forth battle right from the tip. Fishers jumped out to an early lead, but the Rocks recovered by the end of the first quarter, pulling within four. Westfield won the second quarter, and cut the lead to one by half. Westfield picked up where the left off in the third quarter, taking the lead from the Tigers. The fourth quarter went down to the wire, with both teams trading huge baskets. Fishers went up two with 30 seconds to go. The Rocks got two good looks at a three to win the game, but they just wouldn't fall, and Westfield suffered a 2 point loss, in what could have been the "game of the year." Trey Buchanan led the team with 19 points, followed by Nic Book with 14. Caleb Wise scored 7, and Durante Morton had 6.
