The Freshman Rocks got back on track Wednesday night at McCutcheon. The 45-32 victory was a complete team effort fueled by a 20 point 3rd quarter. Reid Ely with an explosive offensive effort poured in 3 threes en route to tally 12 points. Wade Washo had 11 while Eric Keller and Gavin Grossman both had 7 points. Will DeStefano tallied 2 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 ripped jersey. Bryce Bigsbee took on a more distributive role this evening tallying 4 points and 7 assists. Christian Faleke had a few blocks and rebounds while teaming up with Chase Niccum and Noah Grady on the defensive end to hold the Mavericks to a 14 point second half. Ahmad Khader did a great job fulfilling his duties as he was immediately prepared with an extra jersey when Will DeStefano’s number 10 ripped in the first half. The team was also fueled by contagious energy from AJ Welch, Landon Campbell, Jackson Payne, Cohen Marquardt, Yousef Arqawi, and Davis Bode this evening. A complete team effort to help get the team back to .500. The 8-8 Rocks polish off the regular season tomorrow night at Fishers as part of a triple header. It’s a great day to be a Shamrock!
