The Avon Orioles came to town on Friday night for a conference battle with the Varsity Rocks. Westfield got off to a slow start, but recovered towards the end of the first quarter, cutting the Avon lead to one. The Rocks tightened things up in the second quarter, scoring 13 points and giving up none. The second half was all Westfield, and they pulled away by 20 before subbing in the bench. Trey Buchanan led the team with 24 points, followed by Nic Book with 23. Caleb Wise and Drew Haffner added 7 and 6 points respectively.
