The Westfield Boys tennis team defeated Brownsburg Tuesday evening 3-2. Coach Tony Peters was pleased with the win and said the outcome of the match could very easily gone either way. All three of the Rocks' points were determined by three-set matches! "It's impressive when our players come out victorious in the third set. We needed all three of those to win the match." said Peters. That moves the varsity record to 3-2 for the season. Of particular note was Ben Jones at #2 singles needed 3 hours, 3 sets, and 2 shirts to secure the determining point for the Rocks! The JV remained undefeated with a 9-6 win. Of particular note was Neil Aeron and Gage Guerrieri stepped out of their usual singles role and teamed up for an impressive 8-3 win in doubles. Varsity results: Singles 1.
