The Westfield JV Shamrocks held on for a 24-20 victory over the Noblesville Miller on Saturday. With the win the Rocks move to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. On offense, the Rocks were led by players of the game Oliver Cook and John Rendall from their offensive line positions. Shon Edmond led the offense with consistent play from his RB spot all game long. The play of the game came on the last drive when the offense was able to ice the game away with 2 big first downs. On defense, the Shamrocks were led by Braylon Logan from his LB spot as he earned player of the game honors. Michael Sotolongo earned Mr. Consistency along the DL with solid play all game long. The play of the game came when Damon Clark halted a Miller drive with an INT of the Noblesville QB. For special teams, the KOR team earned player of the game honors by getting average starting field position of the 45 yard line. Mr. Consistency was awarded to Zayn Hammond with great play returning kicks. The play of the game came on an Anderson Corya field goal which proved to be the difference as the game progressed. The JV Shamrocks return to action on Saturday, September 19th as they travel to HSE for a 10 AM kick.
