The 10th ranked Shamrocks came out playing some inspired tennis en route to a 6-1 victory over the 23rd ranked Fishers Tigers. This was the final match of the conference season prior to next week's HCC Conference Tournament. The Rocks finished the conference season with a 5-2 record. The win also improves the Rocks overall record to 8-4 on the season. The results are: #1S - Ajay Prasanna lost a tough match 6-4, 2-6, 3-10 #2S - Luke Stoecker cruised 6-0, 6-2 #3S - Payton Paramoure also cruised 6-1, 6-2 #1D - Finn Ryan & Charlie Juleen pulled out a tough battle 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 #2D - Cal Ryan & Matthew Legeay won 6-1, 6-3 #3D - Evan McKinney & Jackson Buzan pulled out a tight 2nd set to win 6-2, 7-6 #4D - Ben Steel & Elliott Orr rolled 6-0, 6-2 JV Green also had a most excellent evening finishing with a 10-0 sweep of the Tigers. JV Green also mirrored the Varsity by finishing with a 5-2 conference record. The win raises JV Green's overall record to 11-2 on the season. The Varsity & part of JV Green hosts the Shamrock Round Robin at Westfield HS featuring a 9:00 am match versus Western HS and then a 1:00 pm tilt versus Lowell HS. The rest of the JV Green squad travels to Noblesville to participate in the prestigious 8-team Noblesville JV Invitational that kicks off at 10:00 am.
