The Westfield Rocks Gold Team competed vs. the North Central JV team on Monday night, falling 14-20 in a closely fought match up. Defensive highlights from the game include a Henry Lye sack, Noah Grady interception, and Evan Fletcher interception. In a contest going down to the wire, the Rocks D stepped up with a HUGE RZ stop under 4 minutes led by Mannix Flemmings, Niko Lent, and Vince Stutzman. The drive ended with a touchdown-saving pass break up by Max Gilbert in the end zone. Offensively, the both touchdown drives were led by Owen Fletcher. The first touchdown was enabled by Fletcher’s long run. Fletcher capped that drive off with a short pass to Meric Todd. Fletcher also completed a deep pass to Noah Johnson for the second touchdown of the night. Huge night for several in a start to the Rocks senior week.
