Your Rocks took the field Saturday for the first game of the season. With several corner kicks and good looks, Westfield found themselves down 0-1 at halftime. After some adjustments, the second half started in the Rocks favor as they pressured the Golden Eagles back line. It wasn't until about halfway through when Avery Van Den Berg broke the seal and tied the match 1-1. Soon to follow, Lucy Malin found the back of the net off a corned kick to put the Rocks up 2-1. The final goal of the game from Avery Van Den Berg to finalize the games score, 3-1 in the Rocks favor. Leah Hunsucker with a solid performance in goal. Rocks next game is at Fishers on Wednesday.
