The Westfield JV Green softball team battled hard against Avon on Wednesday before falling 10-6. Brinna Dale led the Rocks with an impressive 3-hit performance, including a home run, while Bennette Shane also added a homer for Westfield. Maddie Davison chipped in two hits as the team fought its way to a late lead before Avon rallied in the sixth inning.
