The JV Lady Rocks were victorious 11-0 over conference rivals, Fishers Tigers, tonight in an all-doubles match-up and chilly evening of tennis. Seniors Ava Bell & Caroline Hopkins put on a showcase performance, starting the Rocks off with an 8-0 victory on the #1 Doubles Court. At #2 Doubles, Junior Audrey Hanson & Freshman Bryn Hess clicked and communicated well, winning their court 8-2. On the #3 doubles court, the Freshman Duo of Kate Snoply and Brooklyn Miller are very fun to watch, their energy on and off the court. Tonight, they got it done with an 8-1 win. The Junior duo of Erin Ramsey and Carlie Raines played together on the #4 doubles court and led the team by example, bringing in another 8-2 win for the Rocks. On the #5 doubles court, Senior Jillian Pilcher and Freshman Aahana Yadav battled hard and pulled out another tiebreak win for the Rocks 8-7 (7-4). On doubles court #6, Senior Oliva Essex and Junior Sophie Ewing played with grit and intention tonight, bringing a 6-0 victory. The Sophomore duo of Jenna Awad and Varshini Mandli teamed up to play #7 doubles again this season to add another win under their belt at 6-3. Freshman Manini Patel partnered with Freshman Sneha Sharma on the #8 doubles court; they had smiles all through their tough match. This team won their match in a tight-fought battle and pulled it out in the tiebreaker! 6-5 (7-2) Freshman Chloe Zabinski and Aahana Yadav partnered together for the first time and secured another victory for the Rocks, 6-1.
