Westfield girls' track and field competed in our final home meet of the season on Tuesday vs Fishers. While recognizing the seniors on Senior night, the Rocks also came away with a team victory! The Shamrocks had many event winners on the evening to contribute to the 65-61 win vs the Tigers. Individual event winners were Maggie Naas (400), Jordyn Landrum (800), LeBraya Warren (200), Alivia Lozier (3200), Gracie Czubik (high jump), and Sophie Croft (long jump). Westfield also won both contested relays on the night as the 4x100 team of LeBraya Warren, Jenna Rhodes, Izzy Brady, and Addy Busch won in a time of 50.20. The meet came down to the 4x400 relay and with the Shamrocks down by 1 point needing an event victory, the full junior team of Hayley Pitney, Maggie Naas, Lia Ricke, and Katelyn Eblen took the event win and put the Rocks team total at 65 to seal the meet win! Other scorers for Westfield on the night included Makena Schwerin in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Kate Seewald in the 100, Presley Perkins in the 400, Addy Friermood in the 300 hurdles and pole vault, Izzy Brady in the 200 and long jump, Claudia Southworth in the 3200, Jenna Moulder and Katelyn Eblen in the high jump, Fiona Farrar in the discus, and Zoe Burgei in the shot put and discus. The Shamrocks will compete again on Thursday in the Noblesville JV Invite and on Friday in the Zionsville Invite. Let's Go Rocks!
