The JV Lady Rocks were victorious 9-2 over conference rivals, Noblesville Millers, tonight in a beautiful evening for tennis. Junior Audrey Miller put on a showcase performance, starting the Rocks off with an 8-0 victory. Senior Ava Bell and Freshman Brooklyn Miller clicked and communicated well at the #1 doubles position, bringing another 8-0 victory. On the #2 doubles court, the Freshman Duo of Kate Snoply and Bryn Hess are very fun to watch, their energy on and off the court. Tonight, they got it done with an 8-5 win. Junior Erin Ramsey and Senior Jillian Pilcher played together for the first time this season on the #3 doubles court and led the team by example, bringing in another 8-5 win for the Rocks. On the #4 doubles court, Junior Carlie Rines and Freshman Aahana Yadav also played together for the first time this season. This was a tough match-up, but the team battled hard with a great comeback, only to fall short in the tiebreaker. 7-8 (4-7) On doubles court #5, Senior Oliva Essex and Junior Sophie Ewing knew what needed to be done by bringing in an 8-2 victory over Noblesville #6 doubles team of Sophomore Varshini Mandli and Chloe Zabinsky, who battled through a close match, bringing another 8-5 win to the tally for the Lady Rocks. Freshman Manini Patel partnered with Freshman Sneha Sharma on the #7 doubles court; they fought hard but fell short in the second loss for the Lady Rocks 6-8.
