This past Saturday, the freshman football team traveled to Hamilton Southeastern to face the Royals. The game was a back and forth battle throughout all 4 quarters. The Rocks went into halftime tied with the Royals 0-0. Action picked up in the 3rd quarter when an HSE pass was intercepted by linebacker Olu Fapetu and sparked the young Rocks. Later in the third quarterback Logan Robe connected with receiver Bryce Bigsbee on a pass down the sideline. Bigsbee made a would be tackler miss and ran 63 yards into the endzone for a score. The young Rocks continued fighting but unfortunately ran out of time and lost by a score of 14-7. The Rocks will be back at home next Saturday as they take on the Brownsburg Bulldogs.
