Varsity: The Westfield Men's Volleyball Team lost to Guerin Catholic last night in 4 sets, 25-27, 25-16, 18-25, 16-25. The Rocks were led by junior Xavier Lyons in the loss, with 15 kills and 8 digs in the loss, dropping the Rocks to 12-8 on the season. Junior Varsity: Your JV boys volleyball team got back to their winning ways with a dominant 2-0 win over Guerin Catholic on Monday night by scores of 25-17 & 25-11. The night was marked by very consistent setter/hitter connections, resulting in a season high .372 team hitting percentage led by Mathew Mills, who hit .600, and Simon Falvey at .421 with a team high 12 kills. Zach Poe led the Rocks with 14 assists. Game 2 featured a 10 serve run by Nate Vohs that put the match clearly in control of the Rocks....for the match, the Rocks scored on 12 of Nate's 15 serve attempts. The Rocks will be in action again on Tuesday night at home against Cathedral and at home on Thursday night against Noblesville for SENIOR NIGHT.
