On a day that we recognized our seniors, the class of 2024 represented the Shamrocks well at the 2023 Flashrock Invitational! In the varsity race, it was senior Liz Smith leading the charge for the Shamrocks by placing 8th in a new lifetime best of 18:12 for the 5k distance. Freshmen Liv Lozier also had a personal best as the Rocks' 2nd runner placing 16th in 18:35. Remaining scorers for the Rocks team that placed 7th overall in the varsity race included Emily Loiselle, Maggie Naas, and Jordyn Landrum. In the junior varsity race, junior Maryn Babb was the Rocks' first finisher placing 14th in a new career best time of 21:34! Freshmen Claudia Southworth also had a solid day for Westfield as our 2nd runner in the JV meet running a great race to place 31st in 22:16. Remaining scorers for Westfield in the JV race included Ava Britton-Heitz, Lyla Osborn, and Delaney Curtis. Once again, we want to thank ALL our seniors for their commitment and dedication to Westfield Cross Country over the last four years.
