Westfield headed to Carmel High School on Friday night for a 3200 showcase meet. The state's best distance runners took the track for a meet with only 3200-meter races, and it did not disappoint for the Shamrocks. The record books were rewritten on Friday for Westfield as three athletes ran times good enough for the top 10 in school history. It was Jenna Burns with the top time on the night for the Rocks as she led most of her race and ended up placing 2nd in a time of 11:05, improving her spot on the all-time list from 9th to 6th. Emma Pitney was the next finisher for the Westfield running to a time of 11:14 to enter the top 10 and currently sits in 9th. Pitney is now top 10 in all three distance events all-time at Westfield. The last addition to the list came from Mackenna Condon, who raced to a PR of 11:20 to also enter the top 10 list and now sits 10th. Four more athletes competed for Westfield on the night as Ella Lidskin, Gianna Ferreri, Izzy McCulloch, and Carly Davis ran solid races to add to the already fantastic meet. Westfield will compete next on Tuesday in a dual meet vs Fishers in our final home meet of the season. Come out and support the Shamrocks as we honor our seniors on senior night! Let's Go Rocks!
