Playing 1 Singles, Brooklyn Miller, Freshman, dug deep to pull out the win by splitting sets 2-4, 4-2, 1-0 (11-9). Rounding out 2 Singles for the Lady Rocks was Kate Snoply, who carried the team to a victory with a win 4-0, 4-1. Senior Ava Bell and Senior Caroline Hopkins lead their team at #1 Doubles by example with a hard-fought win 4-2, 3-4 (5-7), 1-0 (13-11). At #2 Doubles, Junior, Audrey Hanson and Freshman Bryn Hess gave the rocks an early 4-0 lead over the Lions by winning their match 4-3 (7-3), 4-0. A tough match was played by Senior Jillian Pilcher and Freshman Aahana Yadav, 3-4 (5-7) 2-4 at #3 doubles. Carlie Raines, Junior, and Olivia Essex, Senior, were a dynamic duo at the #4 Doubles position, winning their match 4-1, 2-4, 1-0 (10-1). Playing at #5 doubles was Sophomore Jenna Awad and Junior Sophie Ewing, they had a tough match but battled all the way to the end, adding the second loss for the Lady Rocks at 2-4, 4-3 (8-6) 0-1 (8-10). Sophomore Varshini Mandli and Freshman Sneha Sharma left it all on the #6 doubles court, coming out with a tight and well-fought victory 4-3 (7-3), 4-3 (8-6) over the Lions. The Freshman duo of Chloe Zabinsky and Manini Patel battled the wind and elements by pulling out a win on the #7 doubles court with a 4-3 (8-6), 4-0 victory.
