Varsity: The Westfield Men's Volleyball Team defeated Bishop Chatard on Monday in a close match, 25-23, 25-21, 27-25, 25-21. The Rocks were paced by Junior Outside Hitters, Xavier Lyon (19 kills, 23 digs), and Aidyn Kuzma (18 kills). Seniors Graham France also led the charge with 10 kills, 2 blocks, 3 aces, and 36 receptions, and Stevie Alverez ( 35 digs). Sophomore Michael Terbish had 57 assists in the match, a season high for the "Terbinator". The Rocks improve to 11-7 on the season. Junior Varsity: Your JV boys volleyball team suffered a tough loss to Bishop Chatard at home on Monday night, losing 1-2 (25-20, 15-25, 14-16). The Rocks fought hard but came up just short in the 3rd set. The offense was led by Jack Feltz with 13 assists, often setting up pin hitters Will Hecksel (10 kills, 2 aces, block) and Cam Walsh (6 kills). The defense was led by Spencer Divine (3 blocks) and Nate Vohs (11 digs, 3 aces). The Rocks will travel to Fishers on Thursday for a big conference match.
