Westfield JVW Rocks showed determination and offensive production throughout the game, highlighted by a strong late rally and several key performances. Westfield got on the board early in the first inning when Quinn Hackman delivered a double to drive in the game’s first run. The offense continued to apply pressure and tied the game in the fifth inning after Logan Turner ripped a triple and Hackman followed with a sacrifice fly to bring in another run. Westfield’s biggest push came in the seventh inning, when the team erupted for six runs. Cale Amos, Sean Mitchell, and Hudson Wade each delivered RBI hits during the rally, helping fuel the comeback effort. Defensively, Westfield showed strong situational play by turning four double plays, helping limit additional scoring opportunities and keeping the game competitive. ⸻ Offensive Leaders Sean Mitchell led the way at the plate, collecting two hits, scoring two runs, and driving in one RBI, providing key production from the lower half of the lineup. Logan Turner delivered a big performance in the middle of the order, recording a triple, driving in three RBIs, scoring one run, and drawing two walks. Quinn Hackman continued to produce in clutch situations, finishing with a double and three RBIs, tying for the team lead in runs driven in. Cale Amos contributed with one hit, one run scored, one RBI, and one walk, while Hudson Wade added one hit and one RBI. Graham Baker chipped in with one hit and one run scored, and Luke Campbell reached base and scored two runs. Cohen Baumgartner added impact on the bases with one stolen base, helping create additional scoring pressure. ⸻ Pitching Summary Ryan Mitchell started on the mound and delivered the longest outing of the game, pitching 4.2 innings, allowing 9 hits, 5 runs (4 earned), while recording 4 strikeouts and issuing 1 walk. Wyatt Thayer worked 2.0 innings, allowing 4 hits and 3 runs, while adding 1 strikeout. Khanon Uribe pitched 1.1 innings, allowing 2 hits and recording 4 walks. The Shamrocks take on the Bulldogs once again on Thursday at Brownsburg at 6 pm.
