The Westfield Shamrocks JVW Rocks earned a strong 7–2 victory over Franklin Central, tallying 7 runs on 9 hits in a well-rounded team performance. Jackson Coker led the offense with a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored, while Khanon Uribe added 2 hits and 1 RBI. Luke Campbell chipped in 2 hits and 1 run, and contributions also came from Cale Amos and Sean Mitchell, who each recorded 1 hit and 1 run scored. On the mound, Ryan Mitchell set the tone, earning the win with 3.0 innings, allowing 2 hits, 1 run, and striking out 4 on 54 pitches (34 strikes). Khanon Uribe closed it out effectively, throwing 3.0 innings, surrendering 4 hits, 1 run (0 earned) while adding 3 strikeouts, helping secure another solid team win for the Shamrocks. Defensively, a key moment came in the bottom of the 5th inning. With runners on and the wind playing a factor, Khanon Uribe induced a high pop fly, and Austin Wheelhouse did an outstanding job tracking the ball in the windy conditions to make the catch for the final out of the inning, getting the Shamrocks out of a jam and preserving the momentum. The Shamrocks JVW will start their spring break and return on April 15th to continue their win streak against Brownsburg at home at 6pm.
