The varsity volleyball team went 1-1 at the HSE Invite on Saturday, defeating Lake Central (25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 25-10) and losing to Cathedral(21-25, 10-25, 20-25). In the Lake Central match, the offense was led by Audrey Bassett with 15 kills and Clara Nonte with 5 aces. The defense was led by Lilly Tucker with 19 digs and Nonte with 16. Lilly Stanton finished the match with 24 assists. In the Cathedral match, Carsyn Comer with 6 kills and Paige Rudolph with 5 kills. Comer also added 3 blocks. Tucker again led the defense with 21 digs and added 2 aces. Stanton ended the second match with 15 assists. The Rock will travel to Carmel on Monday to face the Greyhounds.
