Varsity: The Westfield Men's Varsity Volleyball Team defeated conference foe Avon in 3 sets last night, 25-8, 25-15, 25-9. Leading the charge on offense were Aidyan Kuzma, 14 kills, Graham France, 10 kills, Eric Keller, 10 kills; and Caleb Capps, with 4 kills. The Rocks improve to 6-3 on the season! Junior Varsity: Your JV boys volleyball team had a great bounce-back win against conference rival Avon on Tuesday night. The 2-0 match win (25-13 & 25-9) pushed their record to 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference. The match featured strong serving, highlighted by a team-high 5 aces from Jack Feltz to go along with his 8 assists. The defense was led by Donovan Nguyen and Nate Vohs, who each had at least 7 digs, and newcomer Nathan Desaulniers, who led the team in blocks. The offensive leaders for the match were Zach Poe with 9 assists and Simon Falvey with 9 kills. The Rocks will travel to Franklin Central on Thursday for their last match before spring break.
