Varsity: The Westfield Men's Varsity Volleyball team lost a close one on Monday to rival HSE in 4 sets, 17-25, 29-31, 25-15, 20-25. The Rocks battled the Royals all night, but just fell short in defeat. Junior Aidyan Kuzma led the Rocks with 17 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 ace. Junior Caleb Capps chipped in 4 kills and 4 blocks, and Sophomore setter Michael Terbish tossed in 37 assists in the loss. The Rocks drop to 5-3 on the season and take on conference foe Avon tonight at Home! Junior Varsity: Your JV boys volleyball team went on the road for their first conference match of the season and played hard, but unfortunately lost 0-2 (25-16 & 25-10). The offense was led by Simon Falvey with 5 kills and Will Hecksel adding 3. Defensively, Donovan Nguyen and Jack Feltz led the team in digs with 5 apiece. The Rocks will look to bounce back Tuesday night at home with another conference match against Avon.
